Mad March Hare Curry Night at the Lalbagh a great success
Over 50 diners came along to our Curry Night fundraiser at the Lalbagh Indian restaurant on Tuesday 7th February and made the event a huge success. With a generous donation from Abdul Kahhav we raised an amazing £740.
A big thank you to all our supporters for coming along and to Abdul and his team for providing diners with a fresh tasty buffet and excellent service.
Mad March Hare Curry Night 2017
Come join the Mad March Hares as they ‘rogon’ to their second curry evening, following the success of last year’s fundraiser at the Lalbagh in Rodbourne.
Same as last year, tickets are just £15 per person for a delicious 2 course buffet. There will also be a raffle with great prizes.
This year’s buffet is on Tuesday, 7th February at 7pm. Lalbagh Indian Cuisine is located at 171 Rodbourne Road, Swindon.
Please go to http://madmarchhare.org.uk/currynight2017/ to make bookings.
The Mad March Hare team organises fun events through the year to raise funds that help cover the cost of running the event itself. This means that all earnings from Mad March Hare registration can be donated to Breast Cancer Now.
With less than 2 months to go, this year’s Mad March Hare is the 10th anniversary event! Come help celebrate the anniversary on Sunday 26th March at Lydiard Park Academy. Participate in one of the routes – 5k or 10k, walk, jog or run, bring the family or walk the dog! Fancy dress is more than welcome!
Over £93,000 has been raised for Breast Cancer Now since Mad March Hare started and the target for the 10th year is to hit the £100,000 mark! To take part or volunteer at the event please go to www.madmarchhare.org.uk, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0845 6808064.Share This:

Another Great Quiz Night
25 teams and 147 crazy quizers came together to pit their wits against each other at the annual Mad March Hare quiz.
There were plenty of challenging questions from Quizmaster Bill Gibbons but Knobs and Knockers triumphed, closely followed by The Rabble at the Back.
There were lots of compliments from the Quizers for their Ploughman’s Supper.
In total the evening raised £955.53. The money raised will contribute to the running costs of the Mad March Hare event. This enables us to donate 100% of entry fees to our chosen charity Breast Cancer Now.
Our thanks go to all our quizers for supporting us, to the staff at the Legends Lounge of Swindon Town Football Club for having the room all ready for us and for running the bar. Thanks also to Sue Marsh and the Thorntons and La Creuset stores in Swindon Outlet for their donations to our raffle.
See everyone next year!Share This:
