Looking for your first challenge of 2018? Look no further, you’re virtually there; entry is open for this year’s Mad March Hare in aid of Breast Cancer Now. Sign Up and keep training to take part in the fun event in West Swindon, which welcomes people of all ages and abilities to get out and enjoy taking exercise. Come on your own or bring your family or friends or your dog to walk, jog or run the 5km or 10km circular route of West Swindon and Lydiard Park. News Flash After much deliberation the Mad March Hare Team has decided that due to operational challenges we will once again be running our event virtually. Sorry to disappoint our many keen supporters but we know you’ll understand our reasoning as we want to keep our reputation for offering a welcoming, fun and safe event. We are keen to bring our event back in 2023 so keep up your training and sign up for our virtual event. Your registration fee will help us raise funds for our chosen charity Breast Cancer Now. The annual Mad March Hare quiz kicks off fundraising On 1st November 17 teams hopped over to the Mad March Hare annual quiz night which was held at Swindon Town Football Club launching fund raising activities for the 2019 event with a total of £854. The Mad March Hare team also took the opportunity to announce that the total raised at the 2018 event was £9,636. The room was packed with friendly competitive quizzers and Quiz Master Bill Gibbons put the teams through their paces with rounds that included quiz favourites History, Geography, Sport and Film. Everyone enjoyed the popular ploughman’s supper which has now become a tradition with Mad March Hare Quizers. I attended the evening with my husband and a group of friends….

We’ve just closed the books and the team are delighted to announce our 2019 fundraising total for Breast Cancer Now is £10,500.
