About COVID -19 has had a devastating impact for those living with cancer. For many it has been a lonely isolating experience that often means not being with family whilst undergoing treatment. The need for emotional and physical support has never been greater. Your support will help Walk the Walk to make invaluable Emergency Grants to front line services and charities to help those that need it most. Mad March Hare Trail Event This year we are excited to be teaming up with Rose Louise from Days Out For Kids Swindon. She will be setting up a Lydiard Park Easter Trail for children and families to enjoy and raise extra funds for Mad March Hare. Registrations for this event will be open from 1st March 2021. Once you have registered for this extra event, your Trail sheets will be available to download throughout March 2021. A link to the download will be included on your registration email. Rose will also be running a competition alongside the Trail where families can win some amazing treats! Remember 100% of your registration fees will go to the Breast Cancer Now.

What an Incredible Amount Raised. Get 126 people together on a cold autumn evening and what have you got? Well, a fun-filled Fabulous Quiz Night 2021 that has raised £1,333 for the Mad March Hare of course. An incredible amount and we are so very grateful to all 21 teams for taking part. Proceeds from the night will go a long way to cover the costs of staging our 15th event scheduled for 20th March 2022. We are very grateful to everyone who supported the evening. Launch of the Mad March Hare 2020 Event The 1st November marked the official launch of the 13th Mad March Hare which will take place on Sunday 22nd March 2020. The annual quiz raises money to support the running of the Mad March Hare event meaning that unlike many other events 100% of the entrant’s fee goes directly to our chosen charity, Breast Cancer Now. The quiz night was a huge success raising over £1,000 with 27 teams and 169 people attending. The event is always fantastically supported by local people, running groups, walking groups and dedicated quizzers.
