The annual Mad March Hare quiz kicks off fundraising On 1st November 17 teams hopped over to the Mad March Hare annual quiz night which was held at Swindon Town Football Club launching fund raising activities for the 2019 event with a total of £854. The Mad March Hare team also took the opportunity to announce that the total raised at the 2018 event was £9,636. The room was packed with friendly competitive quizzers and Quiz Master Bill Gibbons put the teams through their paces with rounds that included quiz favourites History, Geography, Sport and Film. Everyone enjoyed the popular ploughman’s supper which has now become a tradition with Mad March Hare Quizers. I attended the evening with my husband and a group of friends….
Christ Church Christmas Fayre Two members of the Mad March Hare team, Eunice and Margaret joined many other stall holders at Christ Church Christmas Fayre in Swindon on Saturday 20th November. The support was amazing and their Tombola sold out in the first hour swiftly followed by their cakes. The stall raised a little over £232 for the Mad March Hare funds. Grateful thanks to both Tesco and Asda for their generous donations of chocolates for our tombola.

What an Incredible Amount Raised. Get 126 people together on a cold autumn evening and what have you got? Well, a fun-filled Fabulous Quiz Night 2021 that has raised £1,333 for the Mad March Hare of course. An incredible amount and we are so very grateful to all 21 teams for taking part. Proceeds from the night will go a long way to cover the costs of staging our 15th event scheduled for 20th March 2022. We are very grateful to everyone who supported the evening. Our Quizmaster Bill Gibbons and the staff from Swindon Town Football Club did a terrific job.
