Bristol: This city is bursting with creativity, and it’s not just about Banksy. If you stroll down Nelson Street or Easton, you’ll see some amazing street art. Last year, Upfest returned to BS3, showcasing over 200 artworks across South Bristol. But one piece really caught everyone’s eye.

Street Art Cities is on the lookout for the best street art worldwide, and they’ve got votes from the biggest street art community. Artists from places like London, New York, and Casablanca are in the running. Among them is a striking mural of a man playing the violin.

This mural, created by Liam Bononi for Upfest 2024, features violinist Rupert Engledow from Hyde Family Jam. Liam shared on Instagram that he had this performance in mind for a while. He said, “It’s amazing how art can help us deal with our emotions.”

You can find this incredible piece just behind CJ Hole, near the Tobacco Factory in Southville. If you turn off North Street onto Lime Road, you’ll spot it on the side of a house at 83 Lime Road. It’s even been highlighted in the ‘Expert Spotlight’ by a panel of street art pros.

Now, you can help this Bristol mural gain legendary status by voting for it. You have until January 31 to cast your vote in three categories, including ‘Best Mural of the World’ and ‘Artist Choice’. Check out all the nominees and make your voice heard!
