An inquest has started into the tragic death of a devoted mum. Paula Chadwick, 52, died after a crash involving a Tunstall driver, leaving her family heartbroken.
Middlewich: A sad inquest is underway after a woman lost her life in a crash. Paula Jean Chadwick, a 52-year-old mum of three, was involved in a collision with a Tunstall driver.
The accident happened on the A54 Holmes Chapel Road. Paula was driving her white Vauxhall Corsa when she collided with a grey Range Rover. Emergency services rushed to the scene, but sadly, she passed away the next day.
The driver of the Range Rover was also hurt and taken to the hospital. He was arrested and is currently out on bail until March.
The inquest into Paula’s death was opened recently but has been put on hold. This is to allow police to finish their criminal investigation. A follow-up date is set for August.
Paula’s family is heartbroken. Her funeral notice described her as a loving wife and devoted mum. She leaves behind her three sons, Thomas, Robert, and Mathew.
Detective Sergeant Andy Dennison is asking for help. He wants anyone who saw the crash or the vehicles involved to come forward. They’re also looking for dashcam footage that might help with the investigation.
It’s a tough time for the family, and the community is rallying around them. Everyone is hoping for answers and justice for Paula.
