London: Primark has launched a tomato-scented candle for just £5, and it’s making waves among fragrance lovers. This quirky scent is reminiscent of an £85 candle from the designer brand Loewe, and it’s definitely caught some attention.

Shoppers have been flocking to Primark stores to check it out. Aimee Michelle, a TikTok user, shared her thoughts in a video that’s racked up over 20,000 views. She exclaimed, “Look at this new candle scent that Primark Home are doing. You need to see this. It is tomato and basil scented. Yes, a tomato-scented candle in Primark.”

Aimee wasn’t too impressed with the container, saying, “I can’t say I rate it, but it’s only £5, and I can report this actually smells of tomatoes.” She even compared it to a more expensive candle from Daylesford, which costs £37.

People online had mixed feelings. Some thought it was a great alternative to the Loewe candle, which is priced at £85. Others were skeptical, with one viewer commenting, “I can’t imagine this.” But there were also fans who loved the idea, saying, “I love Primark atm.”

One user reminisced about a tomato and basil reed diffuser they bought from Aldi, saying it made their whole house smell like a greenhouse. Aimee replied, “Ah that would be amazing let’s hope they bring it back!”

Fans of the candle can find it in stores, but it’s not listed on Primark’s website. However, they do have other candles available online, like a fluted glass jar candle for £6 and a multi-wick candle for £11.
