London: So, Vogue Williams just had to call out her husband, Spencer Matthews, for being super awkward when he spotted Gary Neville at a coffee shop. Can you imagine? She shared this on her podcast, My Therapist Ghosted Me, and it’s hilarious.
Vogue, who’s 39, said Spencer, 36, has this funny little habit when he sees celebs. She said it makes her cringe. He gets all fidgety and tries to pretend he’s not looking, but you can totally tell he is.
She recalled the moment they saw Gary. Vogue spotted him first and thought, “Oh no, Spencer’s going to freak out.” She knew he’s a big fan of Gary from Dragons’ Den, so she was bracing herself.
When Spencer started squirming in his seat, she couldn’t help but confront him. She was like, “Can you just not please?!” And he was all confused, like, “What?”
Vogue was just over it. She could see him trying to sneak a peek, hoping to say hi. She was like, “Just let the guy enjoy his coffee in peace!”
This isn’t the first time Spencer’s made her feel awkward. She remembered a time at the BAFTAs when he approached Cillian Murphy for a selfie. Spencer couldn’t resist, even though Vogue was just laughing at the whole thing.
