Stoke-on-Trent: A new dance studio has just opened its doors. Urban Vibez Dance Studio is now welcoming students at its Silverdale location.

The studio operates on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 4:30 PM to 9 PM. New students can enjoy their first lesson for free, with prices ranging from £3.50 to £4.50 for subsequent classes.

Jade Dunnett, the owner, started this journey back in 2012 when she was just 19. Now at 32, she’s excited to expand her business to meet the growing demand.

Jade shared that opening a second studio has always been a dream. With over 200 students at the original Stoke studio, she felt it was time to branch out. Silverdale seemed like a great fit, especially since many students come from that area.

She admits that this time around feels a bit more nerve-wracking. With a seven-month-old baby, balancing motherhood and business is tricky. Thankfully, she has a solid support system to help her out.

Jade is thrilled about the new studio and the variety of classes it will offer. Students can choose from ballet, tap, street dance, and even acrobatics.

While the studio already provides exciting opportunities, Jade hopes this expansion will lead to even bigger events in the future.

Every year, they put on a show, with the next one scheduled for July at the Mitchell Arts Centre. They also participate in competitions, including Dance 25 at the Regent Theatre and events at Alton Towers and Blackpool.

As the studio grows, Jade envisions more opportunities for her students. She wants to provide the best experiences possible, having already hosted workshops with well-known names in the dance world.

Jade’s passion for teaching dance shines through. She loves watching her students grow, not just in their dance skills but as individuals. Many have been with her since childhood and have even become instructors.

She believes dance creates lasting friendships and a sense of family. Jade wants to encourage as many kids as possible to dance, emphasizing its benefits for self-expression and personal growth.
