Sandyford Stores is celebrating its second ‘Retailer of the Year’ win in three years. Owners Rehan and Rizwan Rafiq are thrilled about this remarkable achievement.
The brothers took over the shop after their dad passed away in 2009. They’ve been working hard ever since. Winning this award is a big deal for them. They previously won ‘Midlands & South Retailer of the Year’ in 2021.
Rizwan shared how the selection process works. Parfetts, the organization behind the award, checks out shops in the area. They start with ten shops, then narrow it down to three before picking a winner. They look at things like promotions and how the shop looks.
Rizwan believes their unique offerings set them apart. They have a variety of coffees, a Reece’s machine, and even a Slush Puppy machine! Winning this award again shows their dedication and hard work.
The shop means everything to them. It’s been in their family for 30 years. They want to keep it thriving and are even thinking about adding new machines. They hope their kids will take over one day, keeping the family legacy alive.
