Carmarthenshire: A schoolgirl’s dad says bullying drove her to stab two teachers. The girl, just 13, was found guilty of attempted murder after the attack last April.

In a chat with The Times, her father shared how bullying pushed her over the edge. He said, “Everyone has a breaking point, and she reached hers.”

He acknowledged that while she was responsible for her actions, there was a reason behind them. She had been feeling really low and even self-harming at home.

Before the incident, she was so depressed that she thought about ending her life. Instead, she lashed out in a moment of desperation.

During the trial, teachers feared for their lives. The girl had written disturbing thoughts in her notebook, like wanting to harm others and herself.

Her dad claimed she faced physical bullying, including being kicked and punched. He felt she was unfairly targeted and often put in detention.

Earlier that year, she was expelled for having a knife in her bag. She was allowed back only if her dad checked her bag daily.

On the day of the attack, he didn’t check her bag because she left early. He had warned school staff about the bullying, but they didn’t take him seriously.

After three hours of deliberation, the jury found her guilty of three counts of attempted murder. She also admitted to wounding with intent and having a knife at school.

Her sentencing is set for April, and the whole situation is just heartbreaking.
