Three men are now behind bars after police raided ten homes in Staffordshire. The operation uncovered a significant amount of drugs and led to multiple arrests.
Burton: Police recently took action against drug dealers in Staffordshire. They raided ten homes and found around £20,000 worth of heroin and crack cocaine.
Three men were caught and have now been sentenced. Two teenagers and a 23-year-old admitted to dealing drugs in the area. A 30-year-old woman received a suspended sentence.
This all started with warrants issued last April. Officers had been investigating for months, focusing on county lines operations in Staffordshire.
Last month, the three men appeared in court. Nikita Lismanovics, 19, Ethan Wilson, 18, and Troy Francis, 23, all from Burton, faced serious charges.
Francis got three years in prison. Lismanovics and Wilson were sentenced to two years and three months in a young offenders’ institute. Julie Stringer, 30, also from Burton, received a suspended 22-month sentence.
These sentences follow others given after the raids. In October, two more men were jailed for similar offenses. One was found guilty, while the other admitted to dealing drugs.
In December, another man was sentenced to four years and eight months for his involvement in drug supply. Police are determined to keep tackling drug issues in Staffordshire.
Detective Chief Superintendent Nicki Addison praised the hard work of the teams involved. She said they’ve shut down three county lines and are committed to making communities safer.
They continue to target those involved in serious crime as part of their ongoing efforts. It’s all about keeping the streets safe for everyone.
